Day out for Voodoochilli at Hereford FC
Last Saturday the Voodoochilli team went down to watch Hereford play vs Brocton at Edgar Street. The club kindly invited us up to a game and gave us VIP access to the Executive Club as a little thank you for sponsoring the team. It was great fun and made a nice change for most of us! There were over 2000 fans and it really was quite exciting and I would recommend a visit even to people not at all or only very causally interested in football. The staff were very professional and helpful and the stadium was alive with energy with chanting and singing – the atmosphere was great! Hereford won 2-0, the 22nd game they have won in a row – no doubt because of their amazing website! 🙂
We were also meant to be mentioned in match programme, however sadly last week a player from the \’Giantkillers\’ team of 1972 passed away and that space was reserved in respect for the player Mick Mclaughlin. We will however be featured in the Boxing Day game.
